Soulja Boy Buys $55 Million Private Jet For 21st Birthday

So what's the best gift to yourself for your 21st birthday well Soulja Boy seems to think it's a $55 million private jet. Soulja Boy already spent reportedly over $300,00o on his super exclusive birthday bash which will be held at Club Play tonight. Soulja Boy actually bought the jet for $35 million, but put in another $20 million by putting in flat screens, 4 liquor bars, special tiled floors, Italian leather seats and a luxury bathroom. I just wonder if he's going to arrive to his birthday party tonight at Club Play in his jet...can't wait to see.

Soulja Boy was rolling through with his entire crew at 99jamz to promote his birthday party this Friday at Club Play South Beach. He took phone calls from listeners and had a long interview with Felisha Monet from 99 Jamz who will be co-hosting this Friday. Soulja Boy is having a movie about him come out which documents his rise to fame at the very young age of 16. I think we can all remember just a few years ago we were all doing the "Crank that" dance. The "Soulja Boy movie" is directed by Peter Spirer who also directed (Notorious B.I.G Larger than life and Tupac's Thug Angel). The movie will be released to DVD on October 18th.

"Watch The Throne" Documentary

Kanye West and Jay-Z decided to do a documentary for the making of there highly anticipated album "Watch The Throne" which basically shows behind the scenes footage. The album was recorded in a private estate in Australia, and while watching the documentary you can tell Jay-Z and Kanye West have a bromance going on. You'll also see cameos from Beyonce and Russell Crowe (random).

(July 13, 2011) - Aye-Tee-El's Shawty Shawty came through to Club Play with his comedy chops ready to go. He had the whole crowd on the edge of their seats laughing and commanding everybody in the club to respond with his name every time he asked them what his name was. Shawty Shawty was definitely one of the more animated comedians we've had at our Wednesday Comedy Night to say the least.

Also at the event was Trina who introduced her artist Nisha Rockstarr. Nisha performed a couple songs off her newly released mixtape Fireworks, which is hosted by DJ Nasty who is our resident deejay on Wednesday nights.

(July 15, 2011) - Four Play Fridays is keeping the momentum going and this past Friday was no exception. The talk of the town was definitely the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and we had the pleasure of having the lovely Adrienne Bailon host our Friday Night.

Coming straight from a few shows that she actually modeled in, we joined Adrienne during her ride on the way to Club Play and from there partied with her and tons of partygoers for the rest of the night.

DJ E-Feezy kept the sounds bumping all night while NFL player John St. Clair celebrated his birthday with friends and family.

(July 3, 2011) - Club Play took Independence Day Weekend to launch a new event series entitled "Play Wet". And what is Play Wet you ask?

Play Wet is a pool party like no other. Take the sexiness of Club Play and put it in the middle of the World's Playground, which is Miami Beach, and you have the formula for nothing but good times.

This was the first installment of "Play Wet" and we had tons of models from the likes of Kali Lynn, Bubbles, Laeann Amos, Kyra Chaos and more. Along with pro athletes like Vernon Macklin, Sean Smith, Kendall Langford and David Clowney. And behind the turntables was DJ B-Ryte who was doing her thing in a pink bikini for the entirety of the event.

Overall, the party was a success and you can look forward to an even better second edition of Play Wet - coming soon!
