Club Play Launches Mobile Application, New Website and More.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Club Play, South Beach, Florida- March 04, 2011: Club Play South Beach, a venue that has been the hot spot for some of the biggest celebrities, entertainers and athletes in the world, is rewriting the rule book on how a South Beach nightclub should look and operate.  The location it sits on (at 5th and Lenox) has had a flamboyant history spanning two decades and has been a landmark on Miami Beach since its original construction in 1990 when the infamous Uncle Luke owned it.

In May of 2009 when the current owners and operators stepped in to take over and try their hand at South Beach nightlife (an area where many have tried and most have failed) they decided to bring something different to the table.  While initially focusing on the Friday hip-hop party that The Fifth had become known for, the owners knew that the time would come to introduce more to South Beach consumers and to create an experience that was as unique as South Beach itself and create a destination for party-goers from all over the world.

After operating the club for more than a year and carefully studying the unique characteristics of what South Beach was and determining what South Beach should eventually be, the group completed a multi-million dollar renovation and reopened as Club Play South Beach with a grand opening ceremony on October 15, 2010.  The night included a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Miami Beach, was sponsored by Worth Magazine and Rolls Royce Motor Cars and was attended by Miami Heat players Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Udonis Haslem.  This grand opening, and the participation of Rolls Royce and the star Heat players, set the tone for what the new Club Play South Beach would set out to become.
A significant part of this facelift included the upgrade to the most advanced technology ever used by a nightclub, including a state of the art mobile application.  Club Play partnered up with the most prestigious mobile application designer in the country, Simplikate, which is a world-wide corporation with offices in South Florida. Simplikate specializes in deploying Mobile Applications simultaneously on RIM Blackberry®, Symbian®, Apple iPhone®/iPad®, Windows MOBILE® and Android® Operating Systems and updates client contact daily. “Our Guests can keep up to date with our upcoming events, pictures, videos and more” says General Manager of Club Play, Lia Ames. “They can also sign up for guest lists, reserve tables and even order their car from the valet all from their mobile phone”. Simplikate has completely renovated Club Play’s site http://clubplaysouthbeach.com as well, from 3D video and picture galleries to Blog, upcoming events and more integrating both their new mobile application with their website. Simplikate has worked with numerous companies nationwide including Verizon, Gillette Stadium, Mandarin Oriental and Simon Properties.  Download Club Play’s Mobile App Here and watch Club Play’s promotional video here.

Club Play South Beach has four fully functioning nights per week, and the number of celebrity sightings has only multiplied.  The nights include a comedy show on Wednesdays, live MMA fighting on Thursdays (Coming Soon), the most popular Hip-Hop/Reggae party in America every Friday and now Play Latin Saturdays, which has quickly become the hottest Latin party on South Beach.Club Play will be launching “house music” events in March during the Winter Music Conference and will even be starting a search for the next hip-hop star in April, which is a partnership with the one who got it all started, Uncle Luke. Keep up to date with it all through our newly renovated Website and Mobile App.
