In a new video posted by the “THAT’S ROCAWEAR: 1999 – 2011″ campaign, some heavy hitters in music and fashion have given their perspective on the cultural significance of the urban clothing line Rocawear, originally founded by Dame Dash and Jay-Z in 1999. Steve Stoute (pictured above), Naomi Campbell, June Ambrose and even newcomer Kendrick Lamar all give their opinions on how fashion and music was affected by the line and also go into some nostalgic anecdotes. I feel Kendrick man. I thought I was hot sh*t when I got my first Rocawear varsity jacket too! Watch on:
