Music Video: J. Cole - 'Lost Ones'

J. Cole drops a video for one of the most powerful and thought provoking tracks off of his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. In the clip, Cole and his girlfriend are seen arguing about the fate of an unborn child. Apparently, this video was shot 3 years ago in 2008, before a lot of people even knew who he was. Awesome video, PLEASE WATCH.

I don't think I've ever seen T-Pain like this before. Check out the clip for his track, 'Drowning Again' he released via Twitter yesterday. This is pretty somber in contrast to what we're usually accustomed to from the auto tuning singer/rapper. His album rEVOLVER is due out December 6th.

Latest On The NBA Lockout: No Resolutions In Sight

Sigh. So the NBA's powers that be gathered this week and this is what happened:

In short, nearly the worst kind of news. The NBA and NBPA met for another long mediated session Thursday. The result? At around 7:35 EST Adam Silver and Peter Holt held a press conference to announce that talks have broken down and no further meetings are scheduled.

Silver would not confirm any further cancelations of games, but the mood is extremely grim.

Silver did confirm that the issue that lead to the breakdown between the owners and union was back to BRI. There had been a significant amount of talk about the issues being systemic issues, particularly the luxury tax and revenue sharing. Silver revealed that the union had lowered its offer to 52.5 percent of BRI, with the owners holding the line at 50/50, still.

Ken Berger reported Monday that the owners’ 50/50 offer was back to a 49-51 range. The question is whether the concessions made in the systemic issues pushed the players back to a flat 50/50. Silver also said that the two sides were “far apart” on systemic issues.

Silver told reporters that the players in essence wanted a trade-off. In essence, if the players were conceding on BRI, they wanted more from the systemic issues.

SO in essence, we ain't gettin no damn season. :: sucks teeth ::

Let's face it. Wiz has come a long way from mixtape obscurity to mixtape staple, from 'Black & Yellow' to top selling artist. It's been a crazy 5 years for Wiz and CNN gets a chance to sit down with the rapper and clear the air (no pun).

"Of course I do rap music and Im a hip-hop artist but as an individual as a personality and what I give to the people, I see myself like the leader singer of a band or something. When I go out there, I'm a real performer."

Rihanna did it with this video! Here is the mini-movie that Melina directed for the first single off of Rhi's upcoming project Talk That Talk, the Calvin Harris produced 'We Found Love'. In speaking about the video the Bajan beauty had this to say:

“We’ve never done a video like this before. This is probably one of the deepest videos I’ve ever done...It’s all about love and love being like a drug, you definitely get that from this.”

Soulja Boy Arrested For Weed Possession; He Had in $70, 000 Cash + Drugs!

SO WTF is going on with future Bobby Brown? TMZ reports that Soulja Boy was arrested in Temple, GA this morning. He was apparently being stopped for a routine traffic stop when the officer probably got a whiff of the air and searched the car. Here's the skinny:

...during the stop, cops found a "substantial amount" of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle." Soulja and the 4 other men were all arrested.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers also found guns inside the car -- though it's unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.

One source with knowledge of the situation tells us there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car.

Well I mean I can't say I'm shocked but Soulja has just GOT to do something more with his life. Lately its only been lack luster music and mixtapes, twitter beefs, fly by night girlfriends, drugs and tattoos. Jesus take the wheel. Someone pray for the boy.
